Recognized as a seminal video artist, Beryl Korot's work is celebrated for her application of loom-based programming to the programming of multiple video channels. Rethinking Threads marks Korot's return to weaving, featuring threads constructed without fiber—binding linen tape with paper warp threads. The exhibition explores connections between ancient weaving and modern technology, drawing inspiration from Francisco de Zurbarán's paintings and her own prior work Babel: The Seven Minute Scroll (2007).
