A two-channel video installation examining America's media landscape. The work blends Hollywood depictions of civil unrest with actual news footage using AI-sourced scenes and rapid-fire editing techniques, capturing the contemporary spectacle of the American 24-hour news cycle while blurring distinctions between fact and fiction. The soundtrack combines protest recordings processed through AI software. The exhibition builds on Brambilla's 2004 series Sync, which sampled film frames at up to 12 shots per second across three suspended screens. A companion piece, Limits of Control (prompted), presents AI-reinterpreted imagery with surreal abstraction.
