bitforms gallery presents Daniel Rozin's third solo exhibition, Fabrication, featuring interactive mirrored sculptures. The show marks the world premiere of two new works — Weave Mirror and Peg Mirror — and the U.S. debut of Snow Mirror. Rozin creates installations that respond to the presence of viewers using mechanical engineering and computer software, employing mirrors and perception as central themes. Weave Mirror uses 768 motorized, laminated C-shaped prints to create greyscale portraits through gradual rotation. Peg Mirror features 650 circular wooden pieces cut at angles, arranged in concentric circles around a central camera. Snow Mirror projects site-specific imagery on silk fabric using an artist-authored algorithm processing real-time video.
