Entwined · Marshmallow Laser Feast
Entwined is the first US solo presentation of artworks by Marshmallow Laser Feast (MLF) and their first exhibition at bitforms gallery. The show traces the artist collective's examination of human connections to natural environments via growth cycles and natural rhythms of plant and animal life. Featuring eight works spanning 2015–2024, the exhibition explores symbiotic relationships through video, custom software, and immersive visualization — from the oxygen exchange between lungs and trees in Breath Cycles, to forest perception through animal senses in In the Eyes of the Animal, to the nutrient circulation of an Amazonian Ceiba Pentandra tree in Sanctuary of the Unseen Forest.
