This inaugural U.S. solo exhibition features five new sculptures in wood and fiberglass by German artist Björn Schülke (born 1967). Schülke creates kinetic works influenced by modern abstraction, scientific instruments, Dada, and Jean Tinguely. His pieces explore mass and weight of form through deliberate movements, combining visual complexity with minimal auditory experiences. The exhibition includes the Luftguitarre series of ceiling-suspended sculptures resembling stringed instruments activated by solar panels and motion sensors, the wall-mounted Supersonic with its zeppelin-shaped theremin shell, and Aerophone #2, a bagpipe-like floor installation that cyclically inflates and releases hollow notes.
